About Us
I've always been interested in conformation, genetics, and responsible dog breeding and I am thrilled that I am finally able to pursue a hobby in purebred dogs. I grew up with Shelties, and have had Collies since 2010, when I acquired my first Rough Collie from a small breeder. Shortly after, I puppy raised a Smooth Collie for a guide dog school and got hooked on smooths.

Professionally, I have been involved in the assistance dog industry for over a decade in breeding, whelping, early puppy care and socialization, and puppy raising. I have experience with canine genetics, estimated breeding values, colony management (100+ dogs), whelping, puppy and litter care and socialization, kennel sanitation and management, as well as all aspects of reproduction (fresh, chilled, frozen, TCI, progesterone timing, etc.), breeding well over 500+ litters. So although I am just getting my start in my own breed, I am really excited to be able to bring in all of my past skills and expertise.

Storeybrooke Collies was established in 2023 and is named after my love of books and my first Smooth Collie, Brooke. We are a small breeding program located in northeast Georgia, hoping to breed a couple litters a year. Our dogs are first and foremost cherished members of our family. We practice responsible breeding, each litter is carefully planned and selected to improve the breed, with a focus on exceptional health, temperament, breed type, and versatility. We believe in a well-rounded Collie that is pretty but also functional. Our ideal Collie excels in the conformation ring, but is also sound in temperament and health, so could also excel in the performance ring (or just enjoy life as a spoiled pet).
